I bought the dress on major sale during my shopping trip to South Coast Plaza with Sandy a while back. The fit on this wasn't perfect but with the extra 30% off sale price plus the 15% education discount, I decided the fit issues were acceptable for the price and not worth the extra alteration costs. Another selling point for me was the fact that this dress can be worn 3 seasons in California -- bare-legged for spring and with a blouse or turtleneck and tights for fall and winter.
I wore this to work a couple weeks back and swapped out flats for heels and my white coat for this white blazer for dinner with friends.
White blazer: Zara (old. Similar here and here). Tweed dress: J. Crew. Black pumps: Zara (old. Similar here).
Necklace: Ann Taylor Loft (old). Black caviar quilted shopper tote: Chanel.
this was the dress you got when we were together? I LOVE IT! and i LOVE how you styled it girl, perfection!! and pretty bag too!! i think i want it!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love how classic the dress is and love the photos in front of the red flowers.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great on you. I bought something similar but Colin says I look like a sexy amish woman. I really have no idea what to make of that...but it doesn't motivate me to wear it often! Maybe I need to get it tailored to fit better...
ReplyDeleteHaha...sexy amish woman...I'm trying to picture that. I bet you just look plain sexy. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have the same dress and felt the same way about the fit (a little off, but too good of a deal to pass up). Looks great on you! :)
